On Saturday 5th March 2022 Cathcart Quaich competition was able to resume after a 3 year
break, an annual competition with veterans from the Virtual Club returning as Skips.

Teams were chosen by the committee, hoping to strike a balance between our newest
members and the veteran Skips, with a player Sam from the reigning 2019 champions
returning attempting to retain the trophy. A late call-off and player replacement meant Team

Match format was 2 matches, consisting of 3 normal ends and single shot ends, the team
with the most points wins, if teams are tied on points then a player from the tied teams draw
to the button as the tie-breaker.
After a random draw the matches were set and the competition ready to commence
In the first set of matches, Dunlop salvaged a draw against Barid in the half end with a 3,
